Launch polish, AI-native workflows, and a calmer owner dashboard

May was about turning the feedback loop into a product a small SaaS team can actually run every day: cleaner triage, better loading states, AI assistance, public board polish, and the first serious pass at integrations.

  • NewAI duplicate detection, post embeddings, and discussion summaries for owner-side review.Owners can review feedback with AI help before deciding what to merge, summarize, or move forward. Post embeddings power duplicate suggestions, while discussion summaries make long customer threads easier to understand at a glance.
  • NewImpact / cost matrix, advanced analytics, and route-specific skeleton loading across dashboard pages. The dashboard gained clearer prioritization and analytics surfaces without crowding the default feedback queue. Loading states were tightened across routes so owners see stable page structure while data loads.
  • NewEmbeddable widget product surface with configuration, preview, submit flow, voting, and changelog feed. The widget became a real second product surface for collecting feedback inside a customer app. Owners can configure it, preview the experience, accept submissions, support voting, and show changelog updates.
  • NewGitHub integration groundwork for creating linked engineering issues from feedback. The first integration layer is in place for turning customer feedback into engineering work. Feedback can be prepared for linked issue creation in GitHub workflows.
  • ImprovedFeedback queue simplified around status, sort, tags, and posts instead of heavy team-center views. The owner feedback queue was trimmed back to the controls a small SaaS team needs every day. Heavier team-centered views were removed from the default workflow so triage stays direct.
  • ImprovedPublic board, portal auth, My Posts, site branding, example content, and onboarding handoff polished. The customer-facing loop feels more complete from first visit through follow-up. Public boards, customer identity, personal post history, branding, starter content, and onboarding handoff all received polish.

Public board depth, owner controls, and prioritization foundations

The board moved from a basic request list into a real product feedback system with better moderation, richer owner tools, and the first prioritization layer.

  • NewAdmin feedback detail with status, tags, comments, voters, board moves, owner assignment, archive, and delete.
  • NewDuplicate merge, vote-on-behalf, custom fields, saved filters, and bulk actions for feedback management.
  • NewPriority scoring based on votes, comments, and age, with owner-adjustable weights.
  • ImprovedPublic submit flow gained similar-post suggestions so customers can find and vote before posting duplicates.
  • ImprovedBoard management added ordering, archiving, visibility controls, and cleaner active-board handling.

Roadmap, changelog, subscribers, and closing the loop

April added the surfaces that make feedback feel alive after it is collected: planning, shipping notes, reactions, subscribers, and customer notifications.

  • NewPublic roadmap with Planned, In Progress, and Complete columns backed by dashboard controls.
  • NewPublic changelog list, single-entry pages, linked posts, reactions, and subscriber collection.
  • NewChangelog publishing can mark linked feedback Complete and notify subscribers.
  • NewStatus-change emails notify voters when the owner moves a request forward.
  • ImprovedRoadmap and changelog reads now share the public-loop data layer with board pages.

Customer-facing feedback portal and dashboard basics

This was the first end-to-end feedback loop: public boards for customers, dashboard views for owners, and the site settings needed to make the portal feel branded.

  • NewPublic board, post detail, submit, vote, unvote, comment, search, status filter, and tag filter.
  • NewDashboard home, boards management, feedback list, new post flow, and board detail pages.
  • NewSite settings for name, logo, brand color, public board title, and post review mode.
  • ImprovedPortal auth and My Posts separate customer identity from the owner dashboard.
  • ImprovedPublic pages apply site logo, brand color, portal title, and branded fallbacks.

Foundation, auth, and the first site model

The first cut established the data model, security boundaries, auth flow, and owner workspace needed before feedback could become a real product surface.

  • NewSupabase users, sites, memberships, boards, posts, votes, comments, tags, roadmap, changelog, subscriptions, and notifications.
  • NewServer-side auth guards, onboarding, default site creation, protected dashboard shell, and Supabase SSR clients.
  • NewRLS policies and storage rules for site-owned feedback and uploaded logos.
  • ImprovedProject scope narrowed around public boards first, widget second, and owner-led workflows.
